Health and Safety
At JLC, we have an immovable commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace. We place the highest value on ensuring that each member of our staff is well trained and experienced in the implementation of standard and company specific H&S practices. We do this through ensuring that all of our staff members engage in a rigorous induction process and have the necessary qualifications to engage in safe work practices.
It is of the greatest importance to us at JLC that, not only are our staff safe on site, but the public are safe as well. For this reason, we always have at least one STMS trained personnel on site, as well as staff who are first aid trained and are specifically qualified to operate machinery. It is our commitment, as a company, that all of our practices follow the guidelines outlined by WorkSafe New Zealand with regards to correct PPE gear, machinery usage and task specific practices. We are recognised SHE Software contractors and proud to be preferred suppliers to Waipa District Council.
Likewise, our commitment to Health and Safety also extends to our environment. At JLC we will strive to ensure that all of our practices reflect an environmentally ethical approach with regards to resource management and sustainability. We feel that each of us has a responsibility to engage with our environment in a manner that reflects respect for our resources and surroundings.
We are also committed to ensuring that our staff are continuously trained to complete their work to the highest standard, implementing the safest work practices to do so.
